Breakfast

Breakfast is quite an institution here, and is served in the original dovecot, with guests seated around a large oak table.

We make great effort to use local produce wherever possible, including homemade preserves and bread, and eggs from our own free-range chickens, two of which can be seen perched on the stone to the right.

Breakfast typically starts with a selection of fresh fruit salads and cereals, as shown below. This can then be followed by a choice of cooked fare - as shown on the sample menu on the right below two of our chickens.

In addition to our normal cooked breakfast menu we offer a varying selection of special dishes, such as homemade fishcakes, porridge, cheese rabebit, Wiltshire ham and egg, and other seasonal dishes.

    Choice of bacon, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms and eggs (fried, poached or scrambled)
    Vegetarian Breakfast
    Eggs, baked beans, tomato & mushroom
    Omelette
    Plain, herb, cheese or mushroom
    Toasties
    White or brown topped with one of the following:
    Smoked salmon & scrambled egg
    Poached egg with cherry tomatoes & mushrooms
    Bacon with sliced tomato garnish
