Booking conditions
- Overview: A booking confirmation represents a contract between The Dovecot and the guest making the booking
- Deposit: We require a non-refundable deposit of £30 per room per night, payable by cash, cheque or debit/credit card
- Payment: Accounts must be paid before departure
- Credit Cards: Many major debit and credit cards are accepted
- We do not pay commission to booking agents accept by prior agreement
- Cancellation: If a guest has to cancel or curtail a stay with us within seven days of the visit, and we are not able to relet the room, we reserve the right to charge 66% of the cost of the room(s) booked
- Contract amendment: We reserve the right to amend or curtail any contract where the conduct of a guest who is part of that contract causes any detriment to the wellbeing of other guests.
- Breakages: Guests will be responsible for paying for any breakages
- Arrival & departure: Check-in time is between 5-7pm. Late arrivals should please let us know in advance. Rooms should be vacated by 10am on the day of departure
- Smoking: For the comfort of all our guests we have a No Smoking policy indoors
- Children: We do not accept children under the age of 5. The Dovecot is surrounded by water, so children must be kept under close observation by their parents at all times
- Dogs: We do not allow guests to bring their dogs as our chickens range freely throughout the garden.
