Many of our guests use The Dovecot as their base for exploring Wiltshire as well as the New Forest, Winchester and Bath, all of which are within an hour’s drive.
Alternatively, they just want to have a few days away from the normal bustle of life, in peaceful and comfortable surroundings.

Short break offers 2008
When you stay for 3 or more nights we will deduct £5 per night from the room rate for two people.
The offer is extended to adults with children wishing to stay in our family room. The additional cost for accompanied children will depend on their ages. Please contact us for details.
March-June
- Twin/double room - £60 per night
- Family room - £65 per night.
July-August
- Twin/double room - £65 per night
- Family room - £70 per night.
Special Weekends
Are you visiting us to celebrate a special event? If so, then let us add to the occasion by organising champagne on ice, chocolates, extra flowers, or balloons in the bedrooms. Just ask us at the time of booking and we will see what we can do.
Gift vouchers
We offer Dovecot Vouchers that can be used as special presents for friends or relations, and are valid for one year. Just contact us for details.
